European steelmakers slide on report of Trump's tariff rollback plan

** Trump is considering the rollback as officials in his administration believe the tariffs are hurting consumers, the Financial Times reports

** At this stage, the news is "clearly negative" for companies with a strong U.S. footprint but positive for those exporting to the country - ODDO BHF analyst Maxime Kogge says

** Sweden's SSAB SSABa.ST and Spain's Acerinox ACX.MC, both heavily exposed to the U.S., are each down around 7%

** Aperam APAM.AS slips around 3%
